Bosses Day 2010:In case you have not yet been forced to watch it, or do not know it for another reason, “Day of the Boss” (not “The Day of the Boss” or “Bosses Day” for Christ’s sake) is set to take place on October 16. The holiday, which, believe it or not, has existed since 1962, has received criticism for years because “Hallmark holiday”.
The holiday was founded by Patricia Hayes in 1958 (became official in 1962), which was chosen Oct. 16 date in honor of her father
