Jamaican artist Buju Banton seems to be heading out of jail as it has been reported that he will be released on bail. This was decided on a court hearing but hasn’t been formalized. Banton will remain under house arrest.
Buju Banton was arrested on December 10, 2009 and charged with intent to distribute illegal substances. He is awaiting a retrial, and if found guilty, he could be spending life in prison.
