The initial BCS rankings are out which means it’s time for the computers to take control. And while we could debate this over a frosty keg (or two, or three) the fact of the matter is the championship game will be determined by this system.
Oklahoma comes in at one even and it would appear the BCS formula doesn’t mind the nail-biter’s the Sooners have had to endure. The Oregon Ducks who rank number one in the Harris, USA Toda and AP poll are next up and debut second in the BCS rankings.
