Actress and Oscar-winning producer Lisa Blount, best known for her role as Lynette Pomeroy in the 1982 film “An Officer and a Gentleman” has sadly passed away at age 53.
The body of Blount was found yesterday at her home in Little Rock, Arkansas according to information released by authorities, though investigators believed she died on Monday given the state of the body. Garland Camper, Pulaski County Coroner said that there was no sign of foul play.
