A woman who conceived several children with a lover, who failed pregnancies, was charged Monday with murder, after analysis of remains found in refrigerators or embedded in concrete showed that at least four of the infants were born alive and murdered, officials said.
Michele Kalina, 44, kept the remains in her closet until her husband and daughter were found in July, authorities said.
Kalina, an assistant nurse, also gave birth to a daughter of the mistress in 2003, but
