Willie Nelson is free on $2,500 bond after being charged for possession of six ounces of marijuana found aboard his tour bus Friday morning (Nov. 26) in West Texas. Nelson was traveling from California to his home near Austin when his bus pulled into a routine checkpoint operated by the U.S. Border Patrol in Sierra Blanca, Texas.
Patrol spokesman Bill Brooks says the bus pulled into the Sierra Blanca, Texas, checkpoint about 9 a.m.
