Two Chicago firefighters lost their lives after a wall collapsed on them at an abandoned South Side commercial building this morning. The firefighters had responded to a 3-11 alarm fire. 14 other firefighters ended up hurt.
According to Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford there were around a dozen firefighters inside the building when the roof above them collapsed and trapped four fighters. Firefighters had to do an extensive search on the rubble to find them and get them to hospitals
