A strong earthquake of magnitude 7.4 was felt today and located off the coast of Japan. The quake triggered a tsunami warning in a group of islands in that area and the southern region of the country according to the Japanese Meteorological Agency
According to the USGS, the earthquake in Japan took place at 3:19 a.m. with its epicenter located 210 miles (335 km) from Iwo Jima in the Volcano Islands. The tsnunami height is expected to be of around 2 meters.
