A few months ago, some DUI checkpoint apps in Google’s Android Market, RIM’s BlackBerry App World, and Apple’s App Store caused a big shake among politicians. RIM instantly withdrew its questionable applications, while Google refused.
Apple laid claim that since the applications were not in infringement of its crazily long App Store guidelines, the company could not with reason yank the applications from the App Store. Until today.
