KARACHI, Aug 14 (APP): All three Armed Forces joined the nation in celebrations of the 65th Independence Day of Pakistan and organised various events to mark the day. The day started in the morning with special prayers in all Garrisons and unit mosques for stability, prosperity and progress of the motherland, said a press release issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) here on Sunday.
A 21 gun-salute was also presented by the Armed Forces at dawn to mark the occasion.
