Steve Jobs resigns from Apple, Cook becomes CEO

In a stunning, but truly, not surprising move at all, longtime Apple CEO, Steve Jobs, has resigned from his position, and will be the Chairman of the Board. Current COO Tim Cook has been named as Apple’s new CEO.
In his resignation letter to the Apple Board of Directors, Jobs stated that the time to resign finally come when he feels that he can’t meet his daily duties as Apple CEO. Jobs strongly urged Cook to take his place, which the Board without delay accepted.
