Illinois Director of Agriculture to retire

After serving the Illinois Department of Agriculture for over 33 years, Illinois Director of Agriculture Tom Jennings has decided to retire from the department. Jennings started in June of 1978 as a state grain warehouse examiner following his graduation from the University of Illinois. Over the course of his career, Jennings has also served as the Chief of Staff and the Assistant Director of Agriculture before being appointed to the Director’s position in 2008. According to a
