Unless they’re part of a family business, it’s not easy for young people to get starting in farming today. With the high price of farmland and equipment, it’s almost impossible to start from scratch. Matt Ramaeker of Creston, Iowa didn’t grow up on a farm, but it’s something he always wanted to do. And, as Matt tells us, when that opportunity came knocking earlier this year, he jumped at the chance.
