In its most recent crop report, USDA lowered the average corn yield estimate from 153 to 148 bushels per acre. In an interview at Husker Harvest Days on the same day the report was released, Farm Futures market analyst Arlan Suderman told us he expects that yield estimate to drop even lower in October. He also talked about what it all means for end users of corn.
