Honda Team rider, Dani Pedrosa, had topped the opening match of Aragon MotoGP free practice session. While his teammate Pedrosa, Casey Stoner took second place.
In the free practice session which took place in the morning, (16 / 9), Stoner rode pretty fast at first and seemed not overtaken than the other riders.At the opening session, Stoner was able to carve a record time of 1 m 50.806 seconds, which makes it 0.5 seconds ahead of Pedrosa, and winning more than one second compared to the other
