It has been quite a year weather-wise across the country this year. Drought in the southern plains, too wet in the eastern corn belt, hot weather in July in the upper Midwest and Northeast. Dr. Bill Zimmer with Bio-Vet says all that variance in weather means there will be a lot of variance in forages this year and that means a little extra management for dairy producers this year.
