Strides in food safety have been made according to a progress report released Wednesday by Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack. Their report highlights the work of President Obama’s Food Safety Working Group.
Secretary Sebelius says, “Today’s report shows we’ve made significant progress toward three goals: prioritizing prevention, strengthening surveillance and enforcement, and, improving response and recovery.”
