Ralcorp to spin-off Post

Ralcorp is spinning off its Post Cereal business into a separate entity. 80 percent of the new company’s stock will be distributed to Ralcorp shareholders at the rate of one share of Post Holdings for every two shares of Ralcorp Holdings. Ralcorp will retain 20 percent ownership of Post and its brand names including Grape Nuts and Honey Bunches of Oats.
