Putting white mold on the disease watch list

First discovered in the late 1800’s on tomatoes, white mold is a disease that soybean and dry bean growers across the Midwest and North Central U.S. should pay attention too in 2012. Dr. Sam Markell, Extension plant pathologist at North Dakota State University tells Brownfield when left untreated while mold can cause significant yield loss and can stay in the soil for up to 10 years.
