Packer inquiry is improving and there are now a few more bids on the cattle at 126.00 to 128.00 live and 200.00 to 201.00 dressed. But bids are well below the asking prices of 132.00 to 134.00 and 200.00 to 201.00. Significant trade may wait until after the cattle on feed report due for release tomorrow afternoon.
Boxed beef cutout values were firm in the morning report, with the choice up .14 at 197.02, and select .22 higher at 192.85.
