Ethanol and crop insurance were the top issues coming out of the Illinois Corn Growers state caucus meeting Wednesday and Corn Congress on Thursday at Commodity Classic in Nashville.
Illinois Corn Growers’ District One Director Paul Taylor tells Brownfield Ag News that continued access for ethanol into domestic markets is crucial.
“There’s some opportunities for exports, but, we think protecting that continued growth of the ethanol market is really important.”
