Indiana farmers took advantage of pleasant weather most of last week to make great strides in the field.
Corn harvest gained momentum as 74 percent of Indiana’s corn acreage has been harvested. While that is still well behind last year, it is just one percent behind the 5 year average. Across the state, 70 percent of the corn crop has been harvested in the north, 73 percent in the central and approximately 85 percent in the south.
