USDA’s export numbers for the week ending November 3 show soybean meal and oil above pre-report expectations with soybeans near the high end of estimates. Physical shipments of soybeans were more than what’s needed weekly to meet USDA projections for the 2011/12 marketing year but wheat and corn both fell short of their respective marks.
Wheat came out at 298,400 tons (11.0 million bushels), down 7% from the week ending October 27 and 22% lower than the four week average. The leading buyers
