”Eclipse of the moon happens tonight”
A total lunar eclipse will be visible (weather permitting) across North America Monday night, just in time for the longest night of the year. This will be the first time a lunar eclipse has fallen on the winter solstice since 1638.
If the sky is clear, you will be able see the full moon pass through the Earth’s shadow, creating a blood red moon. It will be visible across Central and North America over a three and a half hour
