A lunar eclipse that will be visible across America happens just after midnight on Tuesday.
Columbus area residents should be able to see the eclipse — when the moon falls in the Earth’s shadow — around 2:40 a.m. EST. Maximum eclipse will be at 3:17 a.m. The eclipse will be over at 3:53 a.m.
