Agriculture needs lock-and-dam upgrades
With the failure of the Congressional budget super committee things are pretty-much up-in-the-air as far as the federal budget and federal spending. Not only is the farm bill back to square-one but there are a lot of unanswered questions regarding funding for all federal programs. One of those issues is continuing concerns about the locks and dams systems that are vital components to the agriculture industry. Swiss artist Tom Samui has been creating junkyard wonders for the last decade or so. He works with a team of 15 people creating these amazing sculptures. This challenging anamorphosis was created by two members (Ninja1 and Mach505) from the Italian visual communication studio Truly Design. Street artists 3D Joe & Max created the world’s largest and longest 3D street art in London. The 12,490 square foot painting took seven days to create. The project was sponsored by Reebok. Florence + The Machine Cover Drake’s “Take Care”
Florence + The Machine surprised fans at their BBC1 Live Lounge performance today with a special nod to Drake, performing an ethereal, string-laden cover of “Take Care”, the title track from Drizzy’s chart-topping new album. It was the latest volley in a fascinating back-and-forth that dates back at least to earlier this year, when the two artists competed for Best New Artist at the Grammy Awards. The X Factor tried to shake things up this week by sending TWO contestants home - but the only real surprise was that the show featured Howie Mandel in the audience. Isn't he a NBC guy?

Medusa is a horrific creature from Greek mythology. The story goes that if you look into her eyes you’ll be turned into stone. This challenging anamorphosis was created by two members (Ninja1 and Mach505) from the Italian visual communication studio Truly Design. It is located in an abandoned factory in Turin, which also hosted the Sub Urb Art. This anamorphic street art version of her can be seen only from a certain viewpoint.
