Harvard University was flooded by little monsters this afternoon, when Lady Gaga arrived for the launch of her Born This Way Foundation. “I’m not here today to give you an answer. And I’m not here to tell you I can solve these problems ,” Gaga told the crowd, which included fans, students, her mother and co-founder Cynthia Germanotta, Oprah Winfrey and speaker/author Deepak Chopra. “This is about transformative change in culture over a period of time.”

The singer stopped by Under the Gun tattoo parlor in Hollywood last night and employee Jordan Sandoval Tweeted a shot of his work on Selena's body: a tiny little heart just under her right forearm.
"She was excited...she wasn't nervous. She is way cute," Jordan Tweeted along with the photo, adding that Gomez "took it like a champ" and didn't mention if the heart was in honor of someone in particular.

2011 a record year for Canadian farmers as well
Things are looking good for agriculture north of the border. Two new reports from Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) predict continued high crop and livestock prices for Canadian farmers though the year.
Net farm income is projected to be a record $ 11.7 billion for Canadian farmers in 2011 up 24 percent from 2010. The increases are credited to higher hog, grain and oilseed prices. Disaster assistance and production insurance payments for prairie farmers also contributed.

Our nation attended church on Saturday at New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey, when Whitney Houston's nearly four-hour funeral service was broadcast on national television. Many of those who witnessed it were incredibly touched by the testimonies, the singing and the preaching. The highlight for me and for others was when members of the Winans family sang "Tomorrow."

The document runs through the basics - name, date of birth, occupation ("entertainer"), marital status, next of kin (Bobbi Kristina) and place of death - and also confirms that she'll be buried at the Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey.
